The Carnival
I wanted this image to feel similar to an old fashioned carnival or circus poster. I got the idea for this when I noticed the text in the background and how it reminded me of the style of writing that you would find on these kind of posters. The use of bright colours and the way the people are performing relates the themes and energy of things like carnivals and circuses. I also tried to make each performer feel as though they represent something different. To give my image this effect I firstly highlited each of the performers and the microphone separately, then changed the Hue for each object indivually. After that I raised the saturation so that the colours would stand out more and feel more distinct from the other's.
