Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll
This image is one of the most unique of my final pieces: whilst the others were of people and their instruments, this is of something you might not even see at a gig unless you were looking for it. I wanted this instead to feel more like a representation of how good music can make you feel, with people seeing it in different ways depending on what kind of music they listen to. The mirrorball itself also works as a metaphor for the power of live music, with them both reflecting and projecting the energy and power of the band throughout the venue. When I was editing my image I wanted to keep it similar to it already was, with the changes feeling as though they could have been done on the actual camera instead of via Photoshop. I firstly raised the contrast and saturation, so that the image will feel more ethereal, I also lowered the brightness after this, as I wanted to give it a human feel: happy but flawed.
