LO2 - Legal and Ethical Considerations

1).Privacy - Whenever I have any people in my photos I will make them sign a release and consent form which says that I'm allowed to use them as part of the photos that would appear in the gallery.  Also some of the locations I would want to be taking photos in will be privately owned, this means that I will need a form that releases disclosure that allows me to take photos in these locations and grants permissions for any logos that may appear in the background.

2). Data Protection - This is determining how I will be storing my data. I will store the majority of my data on an SD and then back it up by copying the photos onto a hard drive/laptop. I will keep the photos until I am sure that I have completely finished with them, then I will delete the emails and make sure that their data cannot be recovered. All the people who appear in my models as photos will be told how I'm storing the data and will be asked to sign a document, stating that they agree with the usage of the data

3). Child protection - I don't plan on using children in my photos, except possibly if a band I choose to photograph have member who are under 18. Also if I get photos of people listening to music who are under 18.  To use the photos, I will need to get permission from the children and their parents and make sure that they know exactly when, where, how and why I will be photographing them. I will also need to make sure only I have access to the photos that I take, and that the images I present don't contain any indecencies.
