LO5 - Shots to be presented (1)

Crimson Flood
This photo hasnt been edited. to create this photo I had  a very low aperture on my camera and postioned myself so that I was capturing the strength of the red flood lights on the singer's face. For this image I wanted to create a powerful sense of passion using the red tint. I also think that this use of colour gives this image and undercutting of violence, with the lights in the top right of the photo, giving an intensity to the image.

LO3 - Third shoot

This was my final shoot, I also went on location to get the photos I needed. In this location there was also lighting in place that I need to take into account.  In these photos I put a stronger emphasis on close ups as judging from our previous shoots they create a much stronger effect, and gives the photos a certain personality that will stand out to viewers

LO3 - Second shoot

This was my first shoot on location, I went to a venue and with the permissions of the band, I took photo's of them performing and the venue around them. I also learnt how to take into account the lights that were already in place and how to use the colour produced by them to create a better image.

LO3 - First shoot

This shoot was essentially a practice/test to allow myself to understand the camera I was using, and how to use light effectively with it. However I did get several shots related to my subject by having people using musical instruments, however the set and background for these photos doesn't fit the style of music and reduces the effect that the subject of the photos was trying to give off.
